Work-based Learning Projects

Community College and technical high school educators participating in a four- week summer externship not only learned from their industry sponsors, but they had the advantage of these sponsors helping them develop work-based learning projects that they could bring back into the classroom. Through these practical learning experiences, students learn first-hand about current manufacturing workplace practices.

The Center's externship program is administered by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association. If you have any questions, please contact Mary deManbey at (860)-244-1900.
