Nicholas Saint, an electrical engineering student at Housatonic Community College, and Stephanie Cherry, a recent engineering graduate from Gateway Community College, plan to present a life raft created with an embedded GPS and SOS light signal for their MET2 project at RCNGM’s Mini Maker Faire this fall.

The RCNGM was featured in an article in Community College Daily, the website of the American Association of Community Colleges, on recruiting for manufacturing through maker faires.

The first Greater Hartford Mini Maker Faire attracted over 1,500 visitors and 48 makers.  Click here to read more tips about tips and benefits.
