Neurodiversity in the Manufacturing Workforce

HAAPE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering autistic adults by establishing workforce ecosystems, career training, and employment opportunity support. Our career focus is on advanced  manufacturing, technology, supply chain and logistics.  

The following will be discussed:  • The unique abilities that often make autistic employees a perfect fit for manufacturing roles • Availability of the autistic candidate pool throughout the US  • Demonstrated business results- productivity and retention • HAPPE’s Certification training and results- CNC Operator Academy, Supply Chain & Logistics, Soft Skills, and AI for manufacturing (currently under development).  • The value of an autistic workforce ecosystem in supporting all stakeholders
