Josiah Roberts successfully completed a two-year program at Naugatuck Valley Community College and is now transferring into a four-year.

Wesley Hipolito was introduced to machining technology through the College Connection Program at Asnuntuk Community College.

The National Center for Next Generation Manufacturing (NCNGM) focuses on the importance of educating women in the manufacturing field, as well as the advantages of working in a high-tech manufacturing setting that is inclusive towards women. The NCNGM is directed by the Connecticut College of Technology (CCOT), a virtual organization representing technology curriculum geared toward engineering and technical training offered at Connecticut's 12 community colleges.
